Derek Engineering, Inc. was established in Louisville, Kentucky in 1987 as a full-service general contractor specializing in commercial and industrial construction. Our Founder, President, and CEO, David Steinbrecher had the vision of providing not only a quality product but also developing long-term relationships with our clients. Our success and growth are directly attributed to our repeat clientele and our ability to meet their needs. While every company strives for that goal, our thirty-two years in business are a testament to that formula.

In 2018, the company expanded to the Arizona market, and with great success. The stellar reputation of this experienced team combined with quality work and integrity directly reflects the core values Derek Engineering was built on.

Derek Engineering, Inc. has extensive experience in developing retail centers, schools, cold storage, distribution centers, restaurants, offices, pharmaceutical facilities, and healthcare centers. Our expertise also includes expansion and renovation services as well as construction management services. We are licensed in Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Ohio, and Arizona.
