Robert drives the leadership and direction of Hooten Construction with integrity, professionalism, and the experience of 20 years in the field. He values strong relationships and open communication with his clients, partners, and employees.
Robert founded Hooten Construction (formerly CBP Constructors) not simply to build and renovate multi-family homes with excellence. He also wanted to strengthen the communities where those families live. At Hooten, Robert has a track record of donating time, training, funds and in-kind support to communities we serve.
Prior to Hooten, Robert was a Principal at Ellisdale Construction, where he led the design-build team to rehabilitate approximately 1,000 residential apartment units throughout Maryland, DC and New Jersey in just four years. Previously, Robert served in project management roles at the Hanover Company, Shelco, Inc., and American South General Contractors.
Robert holds a B.Sc. in Construction Management from East Carolina University.
