Loyal Proffitt's Bio
Loyal recently joined Allied-Orion Group (AOG) as President of the Property Management division and has over 30 years of multi-family experience and leadership.
At AOG, Loyal is responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of a portfolio of approximately 24,000 apartment homes. As part of this responsibility, Loyal is focused on making sure that the goals and objectives of the AOG investors, clients, and business partners are satisfied.
Prior to AOG, Loyal was the President at The Related Group (TRG Management) in south Florida and the Chief Operating Officer at US Residential overseeing portfolios of 14,000 and 44,000 units, respectively.
Loyal graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BBA degree in Accounting.
Loyal has previously been on the Board of Directors of the Apartment Association of Greater Dallas (AAGD) and the San Antonio Apartment Association (SAAA).
Paul Riley's Bio
Paul Riley has served as President of Construction Services for Allied Orion Group since 2015 and has more than 40 years of experience in the industry. Riley’s extensive experience includes the estimating, scheduling, purchasing, management, and quality control of multi-family, commercial, public, airport, industrial, retail, and hospitality construction and construction management. Prior to joining Allied Orion Group, Riley was most recently a Senior Project Manager for Finger Construction, the construction arm of The Finger Companies. He has worked in various other roles ranging from Project Superintendent, Senior Project Manager, and Vice President of Operations for some prominent construction companies, including Tribble & Stephens Construction, Mesa Southwest Construction, Gilbane Building Company and Mission Construction. Riley studied Civil Engineering Technology at Texas A&I University.
Ricardo Rivas's Bio
Mr. Rivas is the Chief Executive Officer of Allied Orion Group (“AOG”). Mr. Rivas joined AOG in 2001 and his responsibilities include the strategic and operational growth of AOG, along with leading the executive team to carry out the company’s objectives in property management, development & acquisitions, and construction.
Mr. Rivas’ professional affiliations include being a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council, the Urban Land Institute, and the Houston Apartment Association. Ricardo is a frequent speaker and presenter in industry conferences and serves as Board Member in non-profit organizations such as Scenic Houston. Mr. Rivas received with honors his Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston and his Master of Business Administration from the University of North Alabama. He is also a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of North Alabama and was named All-Gulf South Conference for two consecutive years as a member of the men’s varsity tennis team.
Sonya Rosenbach's Bio
Sonya recently joined Allied Orion Group as Chief Financial Officer and has 22 years of real estate accounting experience. Sonya’s responsibilities include the oversight of all aspects of the Company’s accounting and finance functions. Sonya has held positions at various commercial and multi-family real estate companies, including Corporate Accounting Officer of a privately-held, California-based company that manages over 30,000 units of affordable and market-rate housing across California; Chief Accounting Officer and Treasurer of a non-traded real estate investment trust in Colorado, with holdings in real property and real estate related investments; and Chief Financial Officer of a privately-held, California-based company involved in multi-family and retail development and operations. Sonya began her career in real estate as an auditor at a Big 4 accounting firm. She is a Certified Public Accountant in California and Texas and graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Chris Varnell's Bio
Chris Varnell has served as a Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Vice President of Construction and Pre-Development for Allied Orion Group since 2016 and has more than 18 years of experience in the industry. He has directly contributed to the development of over 1,000 units, or a total aggregate value of over $130 million with Allied Orion Group. Chris brings a wealth of experience in real estate and multifamily construction with expertise in early stage plan reviewing to provide direction to consultants and value engineering ideas in order to reduce overall cost, increase value of the asset and prevent potential construction and management obstacles. Varnell has continued to help Allied Orion Group build client retention through his unique ability of developing and maintaining relationships with Owners, Consultants, Construction on-site teams and subcontractors through consistent and timely follow up. Prior to joining Allied Orion Group, Varnell was most recently a Project Manager for JLB Partners. Within Varnell’sonstruction career he has successfully developed more than 3,500 units, or a total aggregate value of $330 million. Chris has a Construction Science degree through Texas A&M University.

Jacob Fry's Bio
Jacob Fry joined Allied Orion Group’s construction team in 2015 and was an integral part of several, successful multifamily construction projects totaling over $90 million. These projects include over 800 units and a complete, 9 story renovation. Jacob has served as an Assistant Superintendent, Superintendent and now as an Assistant Project Manager.
Rocky Jett's Bio
Rocky is a Project Engineer who works with Allied Orion to help with day to day construction operations. Rocky believes that being in this position allows him to help move projects along by assisting in any issues that would help slow down our day to day construction process. Rocky has worked Allied for a few years and is dedicated to the team’s success. Before Allied Rocky began his career in construction as a designer in the structural field for over 14 years. After graduating from ITT with an associate’s degree in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD). Since then Rocky was focused on working in the Real Estate industry. Throughout his experience with hard work Rocky has learned Sales, Finance, and Contract Negotiations, Computer-Aided drafting (CAD), Management, Project Management, Project Estimation, New Multi-family construction, Renovations, Lean Manufacturing, Value Engineering, Business Development and strong Client Retention. Rocky uses most of these skills daily to ensure he is an asset to the team’s continuous growth.
