As a native of Baton Rouge, Robert Scheffy has always had a desire to be involved with a local business in order to help grow the city he loves. After graduating from University Lab School, Robert attended Louisiana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management with a minor in Business Administration. Following an internship with MAPP Construction, Robert was offered a position as a Preconstruction Manager. After gaining 4 years experience of commercial estimating, Robert felt the need to venture into residential construction and began working for Carter Hill Construction.
During this time, Robert worked directly with owners, architects, and subcontractors to oversee projects from estimating to completion. He was the primary point of contact on multiple projects and led the day-to-day decisions and construction activities.
Working in residential construction also allowed him to realize the importance of a good relationship built between the client and the contractor.
Whether it’s seeing the transformation of an older structure through a renovation or making plans come to life through new construction, Robert understands the process, the people, and their desired end result. He is committed to working tirelessly and proactively in order to make the experience enjoyable for the client.
