PCC was founded by Chris Preston in 2016. Chris is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma with over 30 years of residential and commercial construction experience. Chris grew up in a family with diverse construction talent and skills with many of his earliest memories created during multiple building projects with his dad and other family members. The Preston family was blessed with the ability to build an entire home without the help of outside contractors and shared that gift with Chris from a very young age. Knowing that he desired a career in construction, and with numerous awards and compliments for his talent and ability in woodworking, Chris began his first construction business as a trim carpenter in his early twenties. His reputation for creating beautiful custom cabinets in a timely manner grew and necessitated the addition of multiple employees. Chris’ ability to provide high quality products with honesty and integrity eventually led to numerous job assignments with general contractors across the United States.
Chris’ ability to manage construction teams on a variety of job sites was soon recognized by a Texas based general contractor who requested that Chris join his commercial construction team as a superintendent overseeing restaurant renovations across the country. Chris was soon known and appreciated for his ability to complete projects on schedule and within budget. This reputation was recognized by the owners who quickly promoted him to the position of Project Manager. After many years of traveling and missing his growing family at home, Chris felt called to leave a successful career of commercial construction and return to Oklahoma, eventually leading to the creation of a home construction business. Chris was blessed with great success as a quality custom homebuilder with the completion of over fifty new homes and numerous renovations and additions. One custom home was built for a national real estate developer who so appreciated and admired Chris’ work ethic and integrity that he recruited him as a consultant for his new commercial construction. Chris enjoyed the challenge of new construction from the development level and completed over 15 projects in three years until the failing economy challenged new developments. Chris then began his role as a Project Coordinator for a local residential development company in Oklahoma City producing multi-million dollar residences.
In 2003, Chris was invited by his church leadership to participate in a mission project to remodel a dilapidated church on an Indian reservation in Arizona. The project was the beginning of a passion to use his construction talent to help others. Since that time, Chris has worked closely with appointed Arizona missionaries to design plans, organize material and manpower, assist in procurement of funds and supervise actual construction of a variety of projects.
