Kirk Welton has 35+ years of construction experience working closely with well regarded architects, while primarily focusing on building modern residences.  Personal attention by Kirk Welton is provided at all phases of the project: pre-construction; preliminary estimates based on schematics; means and methods comparisons; material specifications; budgets; schedules; during the course of construction and after owners move in.

Welton Construction can provide pre-construction services, advising the architect and owner of potential costs for design details and material specifications.  This is an important aspect for project planning and overall success, to meet the owner's design and budgetary desires, and to provide construction technique guidance for the design team.

Built residential projects range from 2,500 to 12,000 SF, with square foot costs ranging from $300/sf to $1,500sf, and smaller, less expensive home remodels. Commercial work includes retail tenant improvements, start-up incubator spaces in existing buildings, and new office space within 12,000 to 16,000 SF existing tilt-up concrete buildings.

Project management services have included off site development infrastructure for a 42 home lot subdivision, including 2 miles of roads, full sewer ejection systems, and mass earth excavations.

Site staff includes full time site supervisors, carpenters and general laborers.  Office staff consists of a project manager, accounts manager and an in-house accountant.
