When I saw that all it took was drilling 2 holes into the lock inorder to open it, I have to say I found the price a little on the steep side. Had he offered a discount for installing a new lock, then maybe I would not have had such mixed feelings. He was quick to arrive, so I did appreciate that.

I spoke to the owner by phone and made the appointment for the next day. The fellow who arrived was a sub-contractor, Near, who is sent out when the company is very busy. Near was very pleasant, checked with the owner about the price quoted, and did the job in about a half hour (re-keyed a lock & made extra keys). The lock works fine, so very pleased with the service. I thought the price was kind of high, but considering that they come to you and this is a skill we don't have, it was not outrageous. In my research, I found that Top Lock has a good reputation and good ratings on several websites, so that is why I chose them.
