Christine Perry's Bio
Christine has over 27 years of accounting experience in residential and commercial construction, as well as manufacturing and transportation. She has been with the Dolphin Architects & Builders team for 11 years.
Whether navigating construction loan financing for our clients, drafting and administering contracts, documenting projects, job costing, or preparing for annual budgets and audits, Christine does exemplary work with a keen eye for detail to serve both our clients and our trade support vendors.
Christine has crafted and implemented many cost-saving measures at Dolphin and led the Accounting Department to operate digitally with our clients and subcontractors, thereby enhancing our efficiency and reducing our environmental footprint. These efforts have reduced the time required to achieve important project decisions and resulted in a digital archive that facilitates all departments’ abilities to communicate effectively with our clients.
During her free time, Christine loves gardening and sharing the edible results of her labor with family and friends. She is engaged in the community, and her past and present civic activities include:

Christopher Ibsen's Bio
Christopher acquired Dolphin Architects & Builders in 2014 from Wally Seinsheimer, a long-time friend and mentor.
During his 10 year career with Piggly Wiggly Carolina Company, Christopher served as Director of Real Estate, where he managed $120 million of design and construction projects for the grocery chain, including the acclaimed Newton Farms store in the Freshfields Village retail gateway to Kiawah and Seabrook Islands.
Christopher also served on the 11-member Executive Leadership Team at Piggly Wiggly and held roles as Director of Corporate Affairs and Director of Marketing for the 100-store retail/wholesale grocery chain.
The first ten years of Christopher’s career were spent in the non-profit sector, including services as: Director of Development, Porter-Guad School; Director of Marketing & Development, Charleston Symphony Orchestra; Senior Development Coordinator, March of Dimes Birth Defects Foundation.
Christopher earned an MBA from Duke University and a BS in Geology from The College of William & Mary, where he served as a President’s Aide.
He married Lise Biggerstaff in 1996, and they have a daughter, Emily, and a son, William. Their family is actively involved in Charleston’s Grace Episcopal Church.

Walter Seinsheimer, Jr.'s Bio
Wally began his career as a homebuilder, rising to President and CEO of the largest homebuilder in Cincinnati, Ohio. In 1965, he moved to the Chelsea Moore Corporation, becoming President and CEO. Its activities include development and management of commercial, industrial, office, and multi-family properties, and home building.
In 1981, Wally moved to South Carolina and formed his own company, building and developing fine custom homes, upscale condominiums and commercial properties. In 1990, Wally founded Dolphin Architects & Builders and has since led the growth of the company to having built more $200 million dollars in fine homes. In addition, in 2001, he and partners developed One Vendue Range, Charleston’s premier condominium residences on Charleston Harbor.
An active philanthropist, Wally’s past and present civic activities include: Chairman, United Way Campaign of Beaufort County; Adjunct Professor of Community Planning, University of Cincinnati; Board Member, Sea Island Habitat for Humanity; Vice President and Director, Spoleto Festival USA; Director, Trident United Way; Board Chair of the Medical University of South Carolina Foundation; Board of Governors, Business School, College of Charleston; Founding Chairman, Trident United Way Day of Caring.

Jonathan Marshall's Bio
Jonathan started in construction at an early age, working as a laborer in the USX Tower in downtown Pittsburgh. He worked his way up through the trades, which provides him with a unique, hands-on perspective for managing custom homebuilding projects. He was taught that problems simply represent new opportunities, and he embraces that philosophy throughout the design/build process.
Jonathan studied construction at California University of Pennsylvania which placed great emphasis on problem solving, structural components, and drafting/design. After college, Jonathan was drawn to the beaches of Charleston, where he has managed concrete, framing, siding, and interior trim crews. During his 15 years in the Lowcountry, Jonathan has built homes throughout the greater Charleston market. His knowledge across multiple fields of construction makes him an integral and trusted member of Dolphin’s design team, as he helps guide our design/build process with each customer’s budget and project goals in mind.
Donna Aiken's Bio
Responsible for delivering client’s first experience with Dolphin, Donna also manages our overall office organization, and handles communications with Dolphin’s valued Subcontractors, including Subcontract administration, insurance oversight, and Accounts Payable. Donna provides Executive support to Christopher Ibsen and coordinates IT support for the Dolphin Team.
Affectionately known as “The General” within Dolphin, Donna served in the fast-paced Executive Offices of several, large corporations in the Charleston area prior to joining Dolphin. A native of North Carolina, Donna has called the Lowcountry home for more than 20 years. Outside of Dolphin, Donna is an active volunteer overseeing vital funding and project execution for Trident United Way.
Doug DiMeo's Bio
Doug has led residential construction projects since 1999 in the Charleston market. Having managed both custom and production home construction, Doug brings a broad perspective and deep experience to the Dolphin Team.
A graduate of The Citadel and a South Carolina Licensed Residential Builder (LRB), Doug originally hails from Massachusetts. During his construction career spanning nearly 20 years in Charleston, Doug has served as a Project Manager for some of Charleston’s most prestigious builders prior to joining Dolphin, and he won numerous customer service awards along the way. Doug also managed field operations for a turn-key framing company, providing him with an invaluable, hands-on understanding of homebuilding.

Catherine Anne South's Bio
Catherine Anne has over 25 years of residential, commercial, and industrial Interior Design experience. She is well respected and a necessary asset to our clients who all love her ability to see the finished product and pull it together for them, on budget and on time! She has been with the Dolphin Architects & Builders team for over 8 years.
She has implemented and led the design and finishes on some of the finest homes in Kiawah, Seabrook, Daniel Island, Sullivans Island, Wild Dunes, Hamlin Plantation, I’on and Seewee Preserve areas.
Catherine Anne is a NCIDQ registered designer and is also proficient in the use of automated design systems, including AutoCAD, ARRIS and Intergraph Microstation to develop and maintain architectural drawings/ lease documents.
Noel Kade's Bio
Noel Kade joined Dolphin Architects & Builders in 2014 as lead architect. In August 2015, the Charleston Regional Business Journal recognized Noel among their 40 Under 40, as a rising professional leader to watch.
Her passion for great design and keen listening skills results in custom-home designs that express the homeowner’s sense of style and architectural inspiration. Noel’s attention to detail results in floor plans, living spaces, and architectural features that achieve the lifestyle goals of Dolphin’s clients.
During her 14-year career, Noel has designed and managed hundreds of residential, federal, medical, educational and commercial projects individually valued up to $29 million. Responsibilities included day-to-day management from design planning through construction, offering organizational skills and problem-solving techniques to ensure the highest level of quality for every project.
She began her career in Nashville with Johnson Johnson Crabtree Architects, creating healthcare and educational spaces across the country. Following eight years with JJCA, Noel relocated to Charleston as architect for Lindbergh & Associates, a multi-discipline firm specializing in Federal projects. While at Lindbergh, Noel utilized her expertise to secure numerous contracts matching client goals and needs with their budgets, while providing error-free drawings. In 2011, after O’Brien & Gere purchased Lindbergh and Associates, Noel rose quickly as a project manager and ultimately served as the Architectural Studio Leader for the Federal Sector.
Noel earned a bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Tennessee in 2002, while serving on the Dean’s Student Advisory Council [DSAC]. Noel is an NCARB certified architect, registered in South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and Kentucky.
She is married to a muralist and fine artist and is very active in the local art community. Noel’s past and present civic and professional activities and certifications include:
