Building Systems, Inc.

Building Systems was founded by Jim Schaaf, along with son, Tim, in 1984.  As the company began to grow, son Dan joined the team.  Today, Team BSI is proud to boast 70+ members.

As a full-service general contractor, Building Systems Inc has its core in the local Erie market, but has completed many projects in neighboring Ohio, New York and southwest Pennsylvania.  Our concentration is primarily commercial and industrial, from large scale new construction projects to major renovation work. 

In recent years we have added the design-build method to our capabilities.  This allows the owner to be actively involved in the project, from the very early develpment stages all the way through to completion.
