Barley Excavating, Inc. was founded in 1983 and is based out of Menominee, MI. The company is a well-established heavy construction general contractor, which provides diversified construction services throughout Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Barley Excavating works primarily with municipalities, state and federal agencies, heavy industrial and large commercial clients. The company specializes in underground utility construction, as well as heavy grading and mass excavation services. Barley maintains a pre-qualified status with both Michigan and Wisconsin Departments of Transportation for projects throughout the Company's 150 mile radius operating area.

Seasonally, Barley Excavating also provides commercial snow removal and salt placement services to a wide range of industrial and commercial clientele. The company also serves as a heavy equipment repair facility, registered with the State of Michigan. Barley's trained and certified mechanics perform a wide variety of repairs on our equipment and for our customers.  

Barley Excavating, along with its long held employees, have been dedicated to quality job performance for over 30 years. Throughout this time, Barley Excavating has developed extensive contacts with owners, suppliers and subcontractors throughout Michigan and Wisconsin.
