Our Story

Mark Borosch is a recognized architectural photographer with an extensive background in commercial photography and photojournalism Mark has always been interested in photography and knew at an early age that he was destined to take photos as a way of life. He started his pursuit of the perfect image in the late 1980s, when he earned a degree in professional photography from the Southeastern Center for Photographic Studies in Daytona Beach, Florida. In 1989, he joined the U.S. Air Force, he soon joined the elite team of Combat Camera Photographers, charged with documenting the Air Force Mission from the home front to the war zone. He received further training at the prestigious Rochester Institute of Technology and in the back seat of Air Force jets, on cargo aircraft and helicopters to become a qualified aerial photographer. Then he was off to ply his trade, which led to a host of assignments that took him around the globe. One job took him deep into the Laotian jungle, where he documented a team recovering the remains of Americans lost during the Vietnam War. And he was one of the first photojournalists to document the humanitarian airdrops over Bosnia in 1993. A year later, he was in Africa, documenting humanitarian relief efforts following the Rwandan genocide. During his military career, Mark took photographs for Airman Magazine, the Air Force's flagship publication. And in 1998, he was hand picked to document the United Nations Special Commission mission to Iraq to document the demolition of weapons of mass destruction. Mark's last Air Force assignment was at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, where he was the chief aerial photography instructor and evaluator - where he frequently hung out of helicopters to photograph missile and rocket launches. In 2000, Mark left the Air Force and started doing freelance in Santa Barbara, California. He also worked as a design technologist, creating a wide range of Web sites for local, national and international companies. After 9/11, Mark decided to move his family back to Florida, where he started his own photographic business: Mark Borosch Photography. Mark now specializes in architectural photography, which has become a passion. Today, he is a business success story. As his photography expertise continues to expand, his work has appeared in a host of prestigious magazines, including Florida Design, duPont Registry, LUXE and Electronic House. "I love what I do," Mark said. "My goal is to make my clients happy - and that means providing them with the outstanding imagery they require. I don't dwell on today. I look toward the future and building business relationships that will last for years to come."
