Scope Of Work

The Stand is a true pit BBQ restaurant and bar concept that was launched by Roundtable Builders LTD designer/partner  Eamon Roche in 2016. Located on 2.5 acres of salt marsh in the town of Branford, CT the restaurant development, design and construction, as well as menu and operations were all overseen by Roche. Due to its location , the planning and permitting for this project were extensive; Coastal Area Management, FEMA, CT State Highway Department (the property is located on a state road) EPA (due to its use as a former gas station) State Liquor Authority and of course the local Zoning Board, Building Department and Health Department all had program requirements that had to be filled. Pre-development with these agencies and the community took approximately one year. With all approvals in place, Roche built and opened the restaurant in an intensive 12 week span. 

The restaurant is open year round, features greens and flowers grown on the property, a farm stand, a breakfast food truck, lunch, brunch and dinner and live music most nights.
