Mr. Taylor co-founded R.J. Taylor, Inc., in 1984 and served as president from 1986 until 2006. In addition to his business strengths he has extensive experience in project programming, budget forecasting and value engineering services.
Mr. Taylor is responsible for the oversight of company marketing and administrative operations, including finance, legal, insurance and new market development. In addition, he has a strong background in private development, working as project liaison between the owner, municipalities and lending institutions on many projects. He has participated with numerous building opportunities across the country and maintains professional business licenses in California, Florida, Massachusetts, Virginia and the Carolinas.
Jim lives in Pittsford, New York with his wife of 30 years, Amelia, and three daughters. Their free time often involves distance running, skiing, cycling, boating, golf, gourmet cooking or participating in one of several community service activities.
