David G. Voss, Jr. began his career with Miron in 1973, first as a
laborer and later as an estimator. In 1979, he became one of the
principal owners of the company, along with Patrick Voss and Greg Kippenhan.
The Voss legacy goes back to 1949, when David Voss, Sr. was one of
five stockholders in the company, and continues with David G. Voss,
Jr.’s children: David III, Daniel, Michael, and Katie, who currently
all work for the company.
As president & CEO of Miron, David has in-depth involvement in
the daily operations of the company and participates in all aspects of
corporate management. He closely monitors activities associated with
all of Miron’s conceptual and hard bid estimating processes.
David is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Stout and holds
a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology with a
concentration in Building Construction Management. He graduated magna
cum laude.
David’s community involvement is legendary. He gives generously of
his time and talent to St. Mary Parish in Menasha and St. Mary Central
High School in Neenah. He is also an active supporter of United Way,
having served two years as the United Way Fox Cities Campaign
Co-Chair and will soon begin a two-year term as Leadership Giving
Chair. In addition, he is a past president of the Associated General
Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin.
