Eric Pepa's Bio
Prior to founding the firm, Eric was a project architect in the Chicago area, overseeing large residential and commercial projects. Early projects included work for Chicago Public Schools and master planning international campuses for the University of Nations
Over the years Eric has served as an adjunct faculty member for the School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as Judson College School of Architecture. He is actively involved in preservation and revitalization efforts in the City of Elgin, Illinois, serving on Elgin’s Heritage Commission and as co-chair of the Downtown Neighborhood Association Design Committee.
Eric received both his Bachelor’s degree in Communications and his Master of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He has broad interests in historic preservation, philosophy, the arts and sciences, and town planning. A lifelong artist, Eric is especially adept at being able to sit with a client at their site, review their “wish list” and sketch out creative, intriguing solutions to any architectural challenge.

Lane Allen's Bio
Prior to founding the firm, Lane was a project architect in Denver, Chicago, and other Fox Valley firms. His early projects included work on office buildings, educational facilities, churches, hospitals, and numerous large recreational facilities.
In 2008 he received his LEED accreditation, and continues to increase his expertise in sustainable and energy conservation design. He is also an expert in Enterprise Green Communities.
Lane has a life-long passion for origami, the Japanese art of paper-folding. He is known for his large origami sculptures made of folded metal mesh, as well as for the trail of folded origami dollar bills that he leaves wherever he goes. Lane and his wife Rebecca actively nurture the arts of Batavia and Aurora as a strategic plan for building community and revitalizing the historic downtowns.

Jarod Pletcher's Bio
Education:
Bachelor of Arts (Architectural Design) – Judson University
Jarod is the newest associate architect at Allen+Pepa and assists with drafting and project management. His prior experience includes design of commercial and multi-family residential buildings in Pennsylvania and has been working on Adaptive Re-Use projects since joining Allen+Pepa.
