M & M Electric, Inc.

M&M Electric Inc was founded in 1979 by owner and current president, Michael R. Martin. Quickly after completing high school, with an electrical certificate, Michael sought out his dream to become a business owner in the electrical field. Michael quickly completed his Apprenticeship, becoming a Journeyman, and didn't waste any time obtaining his E1 to own his own company. For the first 10 years Michael roughed houses, and brought families homes to life with lighting. Over the years M&M Electric has grown from Residential to Commercial and Industrial services. Working with well known companies such as, Johnson Controls, Siemens, and Enercon to complete State and Town lighting upgrades.

Today M&M Electric is a family owned and run business with Michael's son Brian, and daughter Lisa. While they still work with general contractors such as Johnson Controls, they are also one of Connecticut's few certified contractors through Eversource. Where they work hard to bring awareness to businesses around the state about energy conservation lighting upgrades. Eversource's, Energize CT program, offers incentives to upgrade and retrofit businesses existing lighting, H.V.A.C. and refrigeration controls, to today's technology, resulting in maximum energy savings. Benefiting companies with energy savings, as well as preserving the environment for future generations. M&M Electric's vision is to supply greener solutions for a better tomorrow, and assures the Small Business Energy Advantage Program is one opportunity to implement changes for a brighter future.
