Our Story

Pacific Builders was founded in 1979 and incorporated in California in 2006 by Nick and Tony Lucchesi. The company has enjoyed steady growth since its inception because of our strong commitment to our clients and to the communities we serve. Pacific Builders maintains its office in Arcata, California. While Humboldt County and the North Coast remain our focus, Pacific Builders has successfully completed projects throughout northern California and Oregon.

As builders, the company’s strength lies in its versatility and ability to work with clients and designers from the point of project conception through all the phases of construction. Pacific Builders helps clients control project costs by working with the client, architects and others to achieve budget goals. The company also supports their clients by facilitating the often-daunting task of getting projects moved through the bureaucratic process to groundbreaking. They continue to work closely with clients from project beginning to completion, striving to exceed expectations at every step.

While we are very proud of the hundreds of buildings and projects we have constructed since our founding in 1979, we are also thankful for the many opportunities we have enjoyed and the associations we have developed with the highest caliber of clients, architects, employees, subcontractors and suppliers.

All wood, concrete, asphalt, brick, cardboard, green waste, metal scrap and reusable fixtures are directed to a material specific recycling facility, local recycling center, salvage operations or a local non-profit during this period. Our office uses a recycling program and focused material procurement to help reduce our footprint before the end waste is created on our projects.  We are continually challenged with where materials can be recycled as there is very little infrastructure to support our efforts. Currently we can no longer recycle asphalt shingles or drywall. Our program includes source separation on-site which is transported to different locations for reuse or recycling. Please contact us for information regarding our resource management program.
