Scope Of Work

This project included the renovation of two adjoining buildings, the Medical Science Building and the College of Medicine West Tower, for the installation of state-of-the-art prototype research labs and expanded administrative support. The project includes upgraded building infrastructure, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical infrastructure. In demolition, we identified and abated unforeseen asbestos and lead-based paints. The team communicated this issue to the client immediately and submitted notices to IDPH for abatement procedures we then executed to minimize schedule delay. Despite remediation, the project will finish within budget and meet LEED Gold certification requirements.
