Scope Of Work
“ new Animal Dairy Sciences provides our students faculty with an exceptional teaching learning environment,” said MSU Mark E. Keenum. “This will further enhance Mississippi State’s national international agricultural sciences research education.”
George Hopper, dean College Agriculture Life Sciences Mississippi Agricultural Forestry Experiment Station, emphasized how positions department for future.
“ Department Animal Dairy Sciences has a legacy training future leaders in animal agriculture,” Hopper said. “This will allow department faculty to expand teaching, research and outreach efforts to assist more than 16,000 livestock farmers Mississippi.”
Animal Dairy Sciences will serve department’s growing student body, which includes approximately 430 undergraduates 30 graduate students. also will house department’s some 40 faculty . space includes classrooms, laboratories, faculty offices, conference rooms a graduate assistant suite. A food space on first floor, adjacent to main lobby, has been named by Mississippi State Equine
