Scope Of Work
This 23,200 SF addition tied into an existing building on the Smithfield campus. The addition includes a gymnasium, concession area, boys locker room, showers, coaches offices, laundry room, equipment room, lift garage, and restrooms. 12,190 SF of the space is an ICC-500 rated storm shelter, which encompasses the gym, restrooms, and concessions, and is rated for 2,061 occupants. The structure of the shelter is precast concrete panels with brick exterior and CMU interior. The rest of the structure is CMU and steel construction. Outside we completed a new parking lot, retaining walls, iron fences, and landscaping.
