Michael Lohnes has 10 years as a professional with a Bachelor of Fine Arts major in design and fine arts.
As an artisan he feels a strong sense of responsibility to put as much of himself in each piece he crafts. But even more so, he feels it is his sole responsibility to make sure that what he creates is as beautiful and justifies the tree from which his work originates from.
He believes in preserving our world and teaching our children that it is not ok to take what is not ours and give nothing back in return. He would like to create heir loom pieces that will be wanted not only by his customers but also by their families after them.
He looks for customers who want the same as he wants for his family. Quality of product, Quality of design, and Quality of our lives and the lives of our children.
When he designs a piece of cabinetry or furniture for his clients, that design come from thousands of years of history throughout all cultures and from nature itself. Just stop and look around, there is beauty everywhere. From the baron branches in winter to the curves of Greek sculpture.
The process of creating a personal design or one of his is a painstaking one that does require some patience on the part of the client and the maker/designer.
Each unique piece he makes is one that he has given heart and soul to and it is in fact impossible to separate himself from his his.
Michael invites you to join him and his family in creating a piece of history that everyone can be proud of.
