Claes Larsson's Bio
Skanska USA Commercial Development delivers customer-focused, highly sustainable office, mixed-use and multi-family properties across the United States.
Claes Larsson, Executive Vice President and member of the Skanska Group Leadership Team is the interim Business Unit President (BUP) for Skanska USA’s Commercial Development operations.
As the interim BUP, Claes is responsible for setting strategic direction - with focus on growing Skanska’s development operations in its existing markets in Boston, Houston, Seattle, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles; improving operational effectiveness and efficiency; and evaluating new market expansion opportunities.
Under Claes direction and leadership, Skanska launched the company’s U.S. commercial development business in 2008. Since then, the team has developed headquarter offices for Brooks Sports, PwC (also known as PricewaterhouseCoopers) and Tommy Bahama.
In his role as Executive Vice President, he is responsible for all three Skanska Commercial Development business units in Europe, Nordics, USA, including Skanska Residential Development Europe and BoKlok Housing.
Claes joined Skanska in 1990. He holds an MBA and M.Sc. Engineering degree from Chalmers University of Technology.

Don Fusco leads Skanska USA Civil’s Senior Management Team and its 7,000 white- and blue-collar professionals nationwide to deliver world-class construction services within the civil sector across the United States.
As Skanska USA Civil’s Business Unit President & CEO, Don Fusco is committed to enhancing the value of the organization’s civil construction portfolio while serving as a role model for Skanska’s culture and values. With 29 years of industry experience, including 16 years with Skanska, Fusco brings operational and financial leadership that has helped the company deliver some of the most high-profile civil construction projects across the United States.
Before being appointed Business Unit President & CEO of USA Civil, Fusco served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the company’s civil operations in the West Region, overseeing key markets such as Seattle and Northern and Southern California. As COO, Fusco oversaw construction on a diverse portfolio of mega-projects while positioning the company for sustainable growth in the West.
Previously, as Senior Vice President & General Manager of Skanska’s Northeast Region, Fusco led Skanska’s growth into new markets and managed iconic projects such as the Second Avenue Subway extension and rebuilding of the World Trade Center (WTC) PATH subway station and creation of the WTC Transportation Hub (or “Oculus”).
Fusco has consistently demonstrated operational and financial acumen while serving as a role model for Skanska’s culture and values. Throughout his career at Skanska, Fusco has been a champion for Skanska’s certified disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) outreach and compliance efforts.
Fusco holds a bachelor of science in construction engineering and management from the New Jersey Institute of Technology

Johan previously served as the EVP for Skanska Infrastructure Development in the USA. Prior to this he was Business Unit President for Skanska Latin America with the assignment to close down the operation. Johan has served more than 23 years with Skanska serving as the CFO for Skanska USA Civil, Skanska Infrastructure Development and Skanska Sweden

Richard Kennedy's Bio
Richard Kennedy is President & CEO of Skanska USA and a member of Skanska’s six-person Group Leadership Team (GLT) responsible for global operations. He is responsible for the company’s U.S. construction operations; U.S. corporate staff functions; and infrastructure development operations. Richard also oversees the coordination of all U.S. services, which generated $6.8 billion in revenue in 2016 from construction, commercial development and infrastructure development operations.

Robert Ward is president & CEO of Skanska USA Commercial Development, which invests in and develops highly sustainable office and multi-family properties in select markets in the U.S.
Robert is focused on growing Skanska’s office and multi-family development operations in its existing markets in Boston, Houston, Seattle, and Washington D.C.; improving operational effectiveness and efficiency within the group; and evaluating opportunities to expand into new U.S. markets.
He has more than 20 years of experience in both the real estate development and construction industries most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Skanska USA Commercial Development. As COO, Robert drove several key elements of the company’s development operations including evaluating all project investments, refining national leasing and customer strategy, exploring new market opportunities and managing the group’s professional service functions.
Earlier in his Skanska tenure, Robert served as both the Executive Vice President (EVP) of development operations in Washington, D.C. and the interim EVP of development operations in Houston. In D.C., he oversaw the acquisition of more than 1.5 million square feet of office and multi-family development rights, as well as the delivery of two speculative office projects. In Houston, he also helped secure Bank of America as anchor tenant for Skanska’s Capitol Tower project, kicking of the 754,000 square-foot office tower in a prime downtown Houston location. In 2009, Robert helped launch the company’s commercial development business in the U.S., and was instrumental in the completion of the company’s first self-financed office development, 733 10th, which Skanska completed in 2011.
Robert is a member of the Board of Directors of Skanska Commercial Development Europe; the Board of Trustees of the Federal City Council; the Washington, D.C. Developer Roundtable; and the Board of Directors of the First Tee of Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and serves on the Virginia Tech Program on Real Estate Advisory Board
