David founded Makson Incorporated in January of 2004 with goals for providing quality construction, genuine customer service and a superior building experience.  David has been in the contracting business for over 30 years.   His background is residential and multi-family housing.  Over the years, David grew Makson Inc by expanding into electrical, fire protection, plumbing, residential & general contracting.  Under his leadership, revenue for Makson Inc has grown to over 87M.

Jackie joined Makson Inc in 2012 as Vice President of Fire Protection. With over 25 years of fire protection experience, Jackie solicits and secures new project work including estimating costs, quoting work, developing bids and reviewing plans created by Makson’s in-house design team. His responsibilities also include performing inspections in the field and managing production of fire employees and overall job costs. Prior years, Jackie owned his own business preparing fire sprinkler drawings & hydraulic calculations for fire sprinkler contractors. Jackie attended Kennesaw State College. He holds the following licenses/certificates: NICET Level III in Automatic Fire Sprinkler Layout Systems, FMI Young Managers Institute. Jackie is affiliated with the following associations: American Fire Sprinkler Association (National & Regional), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET).

With over 30 years of general construction & electrical experience, Robert joined Makson Inc in 2016 as Vice-President of the Residential Division. He owned his own local construction business in Rowan County prior to coming on board with Makson concentrating on residential construction. Robert is responsible for meeting with clients and providing estimates/quotes for new residential builds. He manages his residential field team members in the complete build of the project, negotiates pricing for materials and subcontractors. Robert follows the residential projects from the beginning to completion. Robert holds a NC General Contracting license and a NC Electrical license. He is a member of the Rockwell Masonic Lodge and the Rowan Shrine Club.

With a background in plumbing sales, Andy started at Makson Inc in 2008 to estimate plumbing projects. Andy brings with him over 20 years of experience in the plumbing industry. He works to provide competitive bids, negotiate contracts, pull permits, and gather information for submittals and close out documents. Andy also negotiates pricing with suppliers and helps build material lists as well as manage directly with field project managers/superintendents. Andy graduated from Appalachian State University with a BSBA degree in Business Marketing.

Bucky was employed with Makson in 2005 upon graduating from Catawba College with a BS Business Administration with concentration in management. He is responsible for quoting and bidding jobs, doing material takeoffs, scheduling and planning with sub-contractors and material providers, working with architects and engineers associated with the jobs. He works very well with all aspects of the general contracting jobs including working with developers and owners, management superintendents and sub-contractors. Bucky has unlimited general contractor license in NC, SC , VA & TN and he also has unlimited plumbing license in SC, AL, and LA.

Jerry has been with Makson since 2011. He has over 22 years in the construction industry. He is responsible for quoting and bidding jobs, doing material takeoffs, scheduling and planning with sub-contractors and material providers, working with architects and engineers associated with the jobs. He works very well with all aspects of the general contracting jobs including working with developers and owners, management superintendents and sub-contractors. Jerry has an associates degree from Alamance Community College in Mechanical Drafting and Design.

Rod began with Makson Inc in 2017. He has over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry. Rod owned his own electrical business while in MN. He is the Project Manager for Makson’s electrical division. He is responsible for scheduling and planning with sub-contractors and material providers, working with engineers associated with the jobs and all aspects of electrical projects including working with developers and owners, management superintendents and sub-contractors. Rod received his certification from MN Union Apprenticeship School.

Rodney joined Makson Inc in 2012 as Vice President of Fire Protection. He has over 20 years of service in the industry. Rodney prepares proposals for fire sprinkler installations, participates in pre-construction planning, sets up material suppliers to ensure quality products, tracks progress of all projects and also oversees the invoicing and cost reports for projects. He holds a BA in Economics from the University of NC at Charlotte. Rodney holds the following licenses/certificates: NICET Level III Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems, NICET Level III Automatic Sprinkler System Layout, NC Fire Sprinkler Layout & Fire Sprinkler Inspections Contractor, FMI Management Training. Rodney is affiliated with the following associations: American Fire Sprinkler Association (National & Regional), National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET)m Society of Fire Protection Engineers.
