Dear Gary,
Re: Letter of Recommendation
We really appreciate your great support and rapid handling of our fire stop issue from our Federal Survey. In a very short time your team swept through the facility and addresses over 300 smoke penetrations issues. Not one call or complaint from our residents or staff, your crew worked in and around everyone as needed with great success. I have a file of over 600 pictures showing the before and after shots of the area, with your label in each area per code. Not only did your crew do an outstanding job, but you stopped in on a regular basis to assure things were perfect and to keep us posted on where you were at.
Do not hesitate to give my name and number to any of your customers as a reference, have them call me with any questions. I also updated my Facility Directors group, showed them your work, and gave them all your business card, we share the good contractors.
Respectfully,
James L. Hildebrand

Re: Hamilton Benchmark, Inc.
To whom it may concern:
I have had the pleasure of working with Hamilton Benchmark here at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital on several projects. We have completed a comprehensive code upgrade project in and over our existing occupied Surgery addition that includes fire proofing all the existing structural steel decking. Hamilton Benchmark functioned as the installing coordinator for the entire project. Hamilton’s role included initial assessment and planning development, phasing evaluations, trade coordination with MEP contractors, user group meetings and preparation of phasing work schedules for all of the surgical areas with Surgery staff.
Hamilton Benchmark was also the lead on ensuring proper fire stopping was completed on our new patient tower project, completed in December of 2009, ensuring the General Contractor was compliant with State requirements for the new building. They are also currently working on a complete fireproofing project for the structural steel in areas of our existing West patient tower which is part of a 3year plan to correct all structural steel fire proofing issues throughout the campus.
Hamilton Benchmark has also provided valuable input and evaluation of existing smoke and fire walls in all areas they have worked including the plans for correction of code issues found during that evaluation.
I can confidently attest to Hamilton Benchmark’s experience, knowledge, ability to provide quality and timely completion of work requested of them. They have been a valuable asset in assisting me with improving my smoke and fire wall maintenance program and have been a timely and excellent resource for code references and interpretation with regard to the smoke barrier and fire proofing codes and UL listed assemblies.
Hamilton Benchmark’s knowledge, experience, professionalism and dedication have made them a valuable contributor to our Facilities team. I would welcome their involvement in any of our future building projects.
Please feel free to contact me directly should you have any questions.

To whom it may concern:
I am writing this letter to thank your company, Hamilton Benchmark, Inc., for a job well done on finishing the State Project 07E3E (Petersik Hall Fire Stopping), Winnebago Mental Health Institute, Department of Health Services, State of Wisconsin, from June 2nd, 2008 through the end of September 2008. During the construction phase of this critical and important fire safety project you had taken the lead on ensuring proper fire stopping with your crew which greatly benefited to allow the work to be finished on time. This was extremely important as we were dealing with an occupied building at the time.
Your dedication, knowledge of work and technical competencies was outstanding. The members of your crew also demonstrated professionalism, courtesy and respect consistently. Even though there had been several difficult obstacles during the course of work you maintained the efficiency of the flow of the work. Your attention to the project details as well as valuable input and evaluation of the Hospital Building smoke and fire wall was remarkable. As a result of your excellent work we did well during our recent JCAHO inspection.
Again, I would like to express my gratitude in providing your 100% commitments in completing the Petersik Hall fire stopping project. I have the confidence of Hamilton Benchmark’s experience, technical know how and quality of work for future projects.
Please feel free to contact me, if you have any questions or concern.
