KEVIN J. TAYLOR (kjt@kevintaylorlaw.com) received his Juris Doctorate
from the University of Miami School of Law, and his Bachelor of
Science in Construction Management from Florida International
University. Fort Lauderdale Construction Attorney, Mr. Taylor entered
the legal field after a span of 20 years in the construction industry.
During that period Mr. Taylor was a carpenter, a superintendent, a
subcontractor, an estimator and a project manager for various
organizations. He has been a Certified Building Contractor since 1983
and for several years had his own contracting firm.
As a lawyer Mr. Taylor has been associated with several top
construction law firms, including Ferencik, Libanoff, Brandt,
Bustamante and Williams, P.A. and Leiby, Taylor Stearns, Linkhorst and
Roberts, P.A. where he was a partner.

construction estimating courses at both the Undergraduate and Graduate level
Frequent seminar speaker and continuing education instructor having
given seminars to local and national gatherings of: The Associated
General Contractors, The Associated Builders and Contractors, South
Florida Air Conditioning Contractor’s Association and numerous
private continuing education providers.
Kevin J. Taylor, P.A. and Kevin Taylor are approved Continuing
Education Providers for the Construction Industry Licensing Board
Mr. Taylor was selected as one of two instructors in The Associated
General Contractor’s Superintendent Training Program, lecturing on
construction supervision and management at the field level. His
articles on construction law have been published in numerous trade
organization periodicals.
