Scope Of Work
The 2015 bond issue for Merritt Public Schools included demolition of the existing high school building and construction of a new two-story, 28,000 SF middle school building. The building is comprised of the Superintendent’s office, classrooms, and two auditorium style lecture halls, with seating for eighty.
The bond issue also included extending the city’s water main onto the school campus to provide fire lines for new fire suppression systems in the new buildings. Additionally, a 9,000 SF athletic facility and locker room will be constructed for the school’s sports programs. A new HVAC system will also be added to the school’s existing gymnasium.
