Hunt Companies, Inc.

In 1986, Dennis Hunt started "Hunt Construction Services" in Argyle, N.Y. locally constructing residential and light commercial projects.  In 1992 the company was incorporated under Hunt Companies, Inc.  The name reflected the new, two division approach of the company: General Contracting for national corporations like McDonalds, AllState and Fazolis and fabrication of solariums and panelized homes throughout the Northeast.

With the instability of the lumber market in 2004, Hunt Companies began looking for a more stable & economical building product.  The solution was steel.  In 2008 Hunt Companies teamed up with Rigid Building Systems as an authorized dealer and certified installer of pre-engineered steel buildings.

The next generation of this family oriented business has come aboard and brings with them a new energy level along with education and experience in advanced mechanical and building technology.

Hunt Companies has received recognition for their projects from major corporations and National Remodelers Association for their additions.

Hunt Companies operates from a 6 acre facility with a 4,000 sq. ft. shop and office complex and a 4,000 sq. ft. warehouse, allowing us to prefab and stage cabinetry and building components.

Hunt Companies Inc. continues to build successfully throughout the Northeast. Our motto, "strength through knowledge", serves to help us provide full construction services to commercial customers.
