Jan Brimmeier, a Pittsburgh-area architect with 30 years experience, began Architectural Innovations in 2004 when she wished to offer her clients more specialized service to her liking. Her mission was to be the best, not the biggest…bringing art back to architecture.
With two baccalaureate degrees, several art scholarships including the Pennsylvania Governor's School for the Arts and foreign studies — Jan was well-poised to rise in the Pittsburgh-area architecture scene over the last three decades, managing several firms before starting AI.
Using the Charrette Process, Jan’s extraordinary client service delivers several fully developed, unique options for each project, making her firm stand out for government building and school design.
Under Jan’s direction and management, function fuses with artistry-- and these join with modern demands for green building.
Of Paul Slowik, Jan says, “I esteem Paul and his team greatly. Our cultures of excellence and personal service will blend together well to deliver superior design for our clients—in government and school building, and in health care, retail and commercial building. With our shared vision, AI will build the future.”
