Caden Taylor 's Bio
As Vice President of the southern California region, Caden not only helps to oversee the strategic planning and direction of the company, but continues to be hands on with project management of many local and high-end davisREED projects. This Purdue University graduate has been in the construction industry for over 20 years and has worked his way up from project engineer to a sought-after senior project manager and now Vice President. His experience with 4 and 5-star resort hotels and luxury hospitality projects is unmatched. Caden comes from an estimating background and is detail-oriented during the construction process, which keeps projects on-schedule and under budget. His communication style creates a partnering environment between owners, design-team, and trade contractors alike.
He and his wife Jenn live in Point Loma. Jenn is a commercial airline pilot and they enjoy traveling and making memories with their young son Ford. Caden is an avid cyclist, surfer, competition body-surfer, snow-skier, and snowboarder. He is a member of the Point Loma Optimist Club. In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering for local children’s charity events and community clean-ups. A fun fact about Caden is that he has been to all 50 states.

Dan Dalry 's Bio
Dan Dalry has more than 35 years of experience leading the
pre-construction, estimating, and cost modeling on numerous projects
throughout California. His portfolio includes numerous luxury
projects, such as Four Seasons Palo Alto, Ritz Carlton in Rancho
Mirage and the Biltmore in Santa Barbara. This Cal Poly San Luis
Obispo graduate is adept at building strong professional relationships
with owners, clients, engineers, designers, and trade contractors in
order to facilitate a professional and open process as well as to
deliver a quality product.
Dan and his wife of 22 years, DeAnn, enjoy the beach, weekend
walks at the local State park, skiing, and travel with their daughter
Olivia. Dan also enjoys golfing on vacations and weekends.
Derek S. Davis's Bio
Derek Davis is President and shareholder of davisREED Construction.
In 2002 Derek realized that he could do even more for the construction
industry. Taking the best parts of what he gained from his first 20
years in the industry, he decided to start davisREED Construction with
EE Reed and founded the company with a strong emphasis in hospitality
construction. His general contracting experience is unmatched in the
field regarding the breadth and scope of project experience from
historical renovations to five star resorts. This graduate in Building
Construction from University of Florida now has more than 35 years of
experience leading teams from pre-construction through completion on
numerous projects throughout the United States. Recently Derek has
concentrated his energies on luxury projects, such as Vista Collina in
Napa, The Pendry in San Diego, and Kimpton’s La Peer and Everly in
Hollywood as well as various multi-family and mixed-use
projects–dedicated to delivering the best. He sits on the Board for
Ecke Family YMCA and is a strong supporter of many local events and charities.
Derek is also a dedicated family man. Married to his wife Leesa
for 23 years, they enjoy traveling and exploring with their two sons.
He is also an avid fly fisherman, golfer and, we have to mention, a
huge Star Wars fan.
Erik Kissner 's Bio
Erik has considerable experience on both East and West Coasts in all areas of commercial construction, contracting and construction management. His skills include personnel management, scheduling, cost and change management, utility and MEP coordination, estimating, value engineering, contracts, risk assessment, insurance and bonds, and legal. Erik possesses extensive operational experience in a variety of contract delivery methods including Stipulated Sum, Construction Manager at Risk, Guaranteed Maximum Price, Cost Plus and Design-Build. He has a strong reputation for leading, planning, producing and managing safe, high quality projects while consistently exceeding budget, schedule goals, and client satisfaction. With over 30 years of experience in the industry, this LEED Accredited Professional adds tremendous value to every project.
Erik grew up in New England and attended Clemson University in South Carolina. He is a lover of classic cars and even competes in car shows with his 1969 Z/28 Camaro. He and his wife, Debra, have been married for 25 years and live in San Marcos with their daughters Samantha and Allison. Erik enjoys travel with his family, golfing, music, playing guitar, working on home improvement projects and following his Clemson Tigers football team.
Operations
Randall Wilson 's Bio
As regional manager for Northern California, this Bowling Green State
University graduate oversees numerous high-profile projects for
davisREED. The experience and knowledge that Randall has obtained over
the last 30 years in California’s construction business gives him an
incomparable understanding of the industry. He has successfully worked
on both large and small projects and has had responsibilities ranging
from cost and scheduling to operations. The key to his success is
knowledge and understanding of the business and his ability to
communicate effectively with clients, partners, and employees. Randall
is known for finding solutions to challenges on projects and keeping
to schedule. He is a great leader and an asset to whatever project he
is overseeing.
Randall has four grown children of his own, plus a grandson,
and is helping raise two more boys with his significant other, Erika.
He enjoys watching them play soccer and basketball on the weekends. He
also enjoys taking them on nature hikes and going to the beach.
Rod Field 's Bio
As Regional Manager of Sonoma and Napa counties for davisREED, Rod
oversees all projects from preconstruction through completion in the
area. With a total of well over $200M in value, the projects he’s
completed in his 22 years in North Bay construction range in variety
from resort and hospitality to boutique wineries, to the private
residences of some of the region’s exclusive but private clients. Rod,
a Laney College graduate, manages to keep his team focused on making
sure the high expectations of the area’s clients are met, while making
sure that the trade contractors feel comfortably invested in the
process. Having worked his way from labor to director over his career,
he understands every aspect of a construction project and the roles involved.
He and his wife, Charla, have been married for 25 years and
have two children. His daughter is an accomplished rodeo competitor
and he regularly spends summer weekends with her touring the
competitive rodeo circuit when he’s not outdoors hunting or fishing
with his son. When he’s actually not working or traveling, Rod enjoys
working around his home and doing yardwork. He takes delight in custom
building things for his home - from a rustic entertainment center to
an outdoor entertainment area. Rod is a supporter of the A-Z
Foundation that supports US Veterans as well.
Business Development, Marketing & Sales
Heidi Bell's Bio
As Director of Business Development Heidi Bell oversees client
relation development, growth, and retainment, and business strategy.
Heidi has been involved in the SoCal Construction Industry since 2013.
She has worked with specialty contractors, developers, and general
contractors leading marketing and business development efforts. She
also has worked with multiple Architectural and Consultant groups in
support of the design platform Autodesk, earlier in her career,
leading to design collaborations and partnerships in her current role.
Heidi has a passion for the construction industry and brings a broad
range of experience to the organization. In 2020, she was certified by
AGC in Construction Project Management.
Heidi grew up golfing and sailing in the Pacific Northwest. In
her free time, she enjoys painting, decorating, and playing golf at
her favorite course Sea & Air in Coronado. She is also busy with
her two young sons Clayton and Colton. She and her husband are busy
with Super Soccer Stars games and keeping up with their newest
addition who's learning to walk and keep up with his older brother.
