Scope Of Work
Stormwater Sampling/Reporting & Groundwater Monitoring, Groton Landfill (2 locations - Welles Road & Flanders Road), Groton, CT,
Bi-annual groundwater and surface water sampling of 12 monitoring wells to numerous field parameters, total metals, leachate indicators and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and required QA/QC samples. Tabulate data, evaluate water quality to Connecticut and EPA Drinking Water Standards MCLs, CT DEEP RSRs and CT DEEP Water Quality Standards (WQS) for aquatic life. Determine if evidence of leachate, seeps, outbreaks or plume exist and correct any issues. Summarize within a report current and historical results for the Town and submit Landfill Monitoring Report Transmittal Form to DEEP.
