Scope Of Work

The historic Harold D. Donohue Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse is located near the juncture of Main and Southbridge Streets in Worcester, MA. The General Services Administration asked Classic to provide a bollard security perimeter around the Donohue Building at strategic locations. A total of forty bollards were located at the southwest and southeast corners of the building and along Main Street in front of the main entrance doors. Two “strings” of eight bollards each were used to secure the walkways between the Courthouse and the park at Federal Square. The security bollards were covered with historically correct cast iron shrouds complementing the buildings and the surrounding area.
