Jeanie Hunter 's Bio
Jeanie Hunter serves as the CEO and Co-founder of Synergy Construction an Atlanta-based general contracting company generating over 600 million in projects to date. Jeanie identifies, develops and implements internal strategies in the day to day operations that ensures resiliency and sustainability of the organization. Her work has propelled Synergy as a leader in one of the fastest growing women-owned minority companies in Georgia.
?With over 17 years of experience in the industry, Jeanie has exceptional knowledge of the construction market, as well as the real estate landscape and associated sectors. Her background includes being a licensed Real Estate Broker and owner of Jeanie Hunter Realty.
?Jeanie is a member of various associations including –previous MBEIC Construction Chair for Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC), Board Member of Nation Association of Black Women in Construction (NABWIC) member of The Associated General Contractors (AGC), U.S. Green Building Counsel (USGBC), National Association of Minority Contractors (NAMC), and the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), among others.

Ralph Phillips's Bio
Ralph “Ted” Phillips III, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, raised from childhood in Southwest Atlanta, Georgia, is Co-Founder and Principal at Synergy Development Partners LLC. Mr. Phillips has a degree from Georgia Institute of Technology in Architecture with a specialized minor and certificate in Construction Management. Mr. Phillips’ company specializes in Construction Management, Program Management, General Construction and Real Estate Development.
Prior to starting his own company, Mr. Phillips practiced construction management and real estate development for more than 20 years for two large construction companies and one real estate development firm in several capacities; Project Engineer, Estimator, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and Vice President of Construction Management. Through these experiences Mr. Phillips has built and developed several different construction types and numerous projects during his 27 year tenure in construction, i.e.: banks, industrial warehouses, schools, small office buildings, office and warehouse conversions, churches, apartments/mixed use developments, hotels, condominiums, townhomes, etc… It was during that time that Mr. Phillips discovered his love for construction and real estate development and all of its varying components.
Mr. Phillips is a registered licensed contractor for the state of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Alabama and actively involved in the day-to-day operations of his business. As Co-founder and Principal of Synergy, Ralph ensures delivery of tangible projects via a streamlined regulated process, and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of preconstruction, construction, and post construction phases of each project. Mr. Phillips also assists, along with other team members, in the efforts of searching and procuring of professional consultants and construction services. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the involvement of the operations and programs of the company’s (Synergy’s) current assets, and their upkeep and maintenance.

Brittany Montgomery 's Bio
Brittany Montgomery has been an employee of Synergy Development Partners LLC since 2011, working her way up from Administrative Assistant to wearing multiple hats, from Operations Manager to EBO Coordinator to HR. Brittany’s responsibilities include office coordination, website maintenance, document control, RFP management, staffing, insurance compliance and oversight of the company’s certifications. Other duties include assisting and managing City of Atlanta EBO (Equal Business Opportunity) Forms, spreadsheets, as well as monitoring monthly EBO reporting.
Brittany Montgomery transferred her thorough experience in marketing, and customer service to the commercial construction arena with ease. Her expertise in both public and customer service, fashioned Brittany to be the perfect candidate to oversee Synergy’s outreach operations. Brittany’s eagerness to inform the community about economic empowerment has fueled her passion to learn more about diversity and inclusion compliance in the construction industry. Her knowledge and experience with community outreach and her supporting role has flourished and has greatly impacted the all Synergy Development Partners, LLC projects. Brittany lead’s the diversity and inclusion effort for our clients, her main focus is to inform the community about the upcoming opportunities, improvements, coordinate and host community outreach events to encourage both subcontractor participation and community involvement. The outreaches conducted focus on education about each project, and her involvement ensures the project diversity goals are met.
Brittany’s background includes graduating from Georgia State University with a Business Administration Marketing Degree in 2010, and using her 1st year post college working for Wachovia during the business merger to the now well-known Wells Fargo. With experience in a corporate setting, understanding the importance of written and verbal communication, as well as attention to detail, problem solving, and organization, Brittany was effectively preparing for her significant role with Synergy Development Partners, LLC.
Sean Hamilton 's Bio
Sean Malcolm Hamilton, born in Orlando, Florida, raised from childhood in Daytona Beach, Florida, is the senior project manager at Synergy Development Partners LLC. Sean has a degree from University of Florida in Building Construction/Management, and was a member of the varsity football team. In addition, Sean is a US Army active duty and Reserves Commissioned Officer veteran, an OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer, OSHA 500/502 Certified, as well as Lean Construction Certified and Certified in Building Information Modeling (CM-BIM).
Prior to working with Synergy Development Partners, LLC, Sean practiced construction management for more than 20 years for several large construction companies in various capacities; Field Operations Manager, Project Coordinator, Estimator, Assistant Superintendent, Project Manager, Senior Project Manager and President-Managing Member. Through these experiences Sean has built and developed several different construction types and numerous projects during his 27 year tenure in the industry, i.e.: aviation work, institutional work, residential, commercial disaster recovery construction, retail tenant build-outs, mid-rise and high-rise condominiums, townhomes, etc. It was during that time that Sean solidified his passion for construction and all of its variable elements.
Sean is a seasoned construction manager with more than 27 years of experience in the construction industry. An accomplished and energetic leader with a solid history of achievements in project and program management as well as safety implementation and protocol. A team-oriented manager with keen interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. Effective in spearheading operational excellence initiatives to streamline internal systems, processes and procedures, improve team efficiency and productivity, and reduce costs. Ultimately committed to building and sustaining client relationships based upon integrity, reliability and results. Also, Sean is responsible for all safety-related issues on the project from preconstruction through project closeout. He has many years of experience managing safety and will leverage that experience to benefit our team in the field, as well as of all the stakeholders.
