Scope Of Work

 

Synergy was the chosen contractor hired by The Georgia Lottery to build-out two of their most premium locations at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport.  Though small in footprint, the design and materials selected for these “jewel” locations were very high-end, complex, sleek and ultra-modern. The design implementation and construction installation took weeks of coordination from the entire team (Owner, Tenant, Architect, Consultants and Subcontractors). The primary focus during coordination was the critical need to maintain minimal disruption. The retail spaces were built without interrupting any of the airport's normal activities by conducting all construction during the night hours. The implementation of night work reduced disruptions to the airport guest.

?The interior tenant build-out of this project was “fast-tracked” which resulted in early coordination with the designers, vendors and subcontractors to identify the long lead time items, getting them approved and ordered for both spaces at the onset of the project.  The South Terminal was open in November of 2019 and the North Terminal opened mid December 2019.  These stores are the number two ranked retailers for Georgia Lottery stores in the State.

The Georgia Lottery Retail stores scope of work included interior build-outs, complete demo, fit out of all existing flooring, walls, ceilings, and floor finishes. Also, in completion of both stores, coordination was mandatory with the airport stakeholders and required full operation during the course of construction.

Synergy performed all general contracting services which consisted of the interior build-out, demolition of all the existing structures, installation of new MEP system, installation of all new interior finishes and signage. Synergy also provided permitting services from start to finish, always following owner and design team’s requirements.
