Scope Of Work

The Charles A. Smithgall Jr. Student Services Building is located in the center of the Georgia Tech campus, and houses the Georgia Tech Counseling Center, the Office of New Student and Sophomore Programs, as well as, the the Greek Affairs Office. The replacement entailed performing a demo of the existing roof, removal and installation of a new TPO roof. When tasked with the project, Synergy’s first plan of action was to create a repair strategy and safety approach. The student center remained open during the re-roofing process, which made it critical we maintained a clean, organized jobsite, while keeping the construction noise down to a minimum.  

Synergy coordinated the assemble of a temporary fence with fire access to barricade the construction work and removal of existing debris to maintain a clean area.

?Synergy provided all general contracting services for the roof replacement which included, but was not limited to: the design, materials, installation, safety, roofing labor, concrete repairs, lighting protection, and roof drain replacement.
