In 2006, current owners Merv and Margi Showalter, took over the Economy Furnace Company founded by Anthony Trincia in 1960. His goal was simple and straightforward: to provide quality commercial and residential heating and cooling service at an affordable price. The Showalters remain committed to the company's growth and development, taking Mr. Trincia's dream to new heights.

The Showalters have managed to incorporate cutting edge technology for HVAC installation and service, with personalized, friendly customer service. They pay attention to the little details, such as turning the phones after hours to office staff, personal reminders, and exceptional customer service. The HVAC industry has incorporated new computer technology into the high efficiency systems, the Showalters keep Economy Furnace Company current with training seminars and currently required certifications for all technicians. 

Under the leadership of Merv and Margi Showalter, Economy Furnace Company has become the premier company to meet the HVAC needs of Fayette, Washington, West Moreland and Greene Counties.
