Toni Castiglioni is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. She came to Colorado in 1986 with her family when her father’s position as Controller for Anheuser-Busch relocated to Fort Collins, Colorado. Since 1997, Toni Castiglioni has maintained a consistent presence in the aggregate industry in the state of Colorado.
Toni attended Colorado State University for four years in pursuit of her Bachelors Degree in Business and then completed her degree at Capella University. She started her career at Pro-Logistics in 1997. It was there that she learned her background in interstate and intrastate trucking. In addition to that, Toni also became the Co-Owner/Vice-President of the company and established a high-volume business resulting in over $3 million in sales the first year and over $7 million in sales the second year. She also implemented marketing strategies which aided in the company’s increased profits.
In 2000, Toni continued her career with Pioneer Sand Company, Inc., a landscaping supply company. At Pioneer, she excelled at her position as a Commercial Sales Representative. During her time there, Toni had the highest volume in sales out of all the commercial sales representatives in the company. Toni was also responsible for compiling bid-packages, accurate specifications on aggregates, and CDOT projects.
During 2004, Toni became the Sales Manager for Platte Sand and Gravel. At Platte Sand and Gravel, she repeated her success in sales by selling CDOT grade aggregate and building a customer base to open the company with over $2 million in sales in their first year. Toni also developed all of their marketing, accounting, and sales systems in addition to being responsible for meeting CDOT’s quality control requirements for aggregates. Toni also participated in additional education courses and attended the World of Concrete event in Las Vegas.
Toni then took the position of Northern Colorado Aggregate Sales Representative at Aggregate Industries in 2007. She was responsible for inventory and quality control for three quarries in Longmont, Greeley, and Fort Collins. She was also in charge of bidding all major projects in the territory that covered from Highway 7 in Northern Colorado to the Wyoming border.
In 2008, Toni Castiglioni saw a need for minority participation in the aggregate business in the state of Colorado. She started Aggregate Logistics, LLC and has been the President and CEO since July 2009. Toni is responsible for bidding all projects along the Front Range and sets up their trucking haul rates and accounts. She also sets pricing with all quarries with aggregates meeting CDOT requirements. Toni has grown the company to a 3 million dollar business.
