Over the last 15 years my interaction with Smalley & Company has increased significantly. Our original sales person was Mike Baker who was one of a kind and a wonderful people pleaser. I have since had the pleasure of working John Cosaro, Gerald Yoneda and Luis Estrada. John has been our outside sales manager off and on with his position changing directions now and then but we were thrilled to know that he was back in the trenches with his previous customers. However, in his changing positions, he was always available to answer a technical question and if he was swamped, he would refer me to Gerald and brief Gerald on the situation at hand. Gerald would take it from there and make things happen for us as a customer when we have waited until the last minute or something in the field conditions have affected our requirements. Gerald is always available, responds to any inquiries made in a rapid manner of time and if needed does the research to find the right product or suggestion of an alternative. Gerald always follows up with an email or phone call regarding our purchasing or use of a new product. When we are glazing in house a project he checks on the solutions to make sure we don't have to shut down the line because of our material availability. I can also say that he and John never make me feel stupid about my questions and both take the time to explain specifications about my purchases. I work with numbers and money so I am often at a disadvantage with general knowledge on a product unless I have been schooled by either one of them. Luis is also always on his toes in regards to helping me as a customer. His knowledge is also quite beneficial and informational. I have no complaints regarding our repore with Smalley and these 3 fine guys that will help us at the drop of a hat. Their team approach to one customer is above the bar on just about all aspects of interacting with us. If Smalley could program the professional ethics and common courtesies of these 3 men, (Gerald is the one who I deal with the most) you would be relocating to a bigger facility than the one in Anaheim. scheduled for April 1st. Please don't take that as a slamr to you other customer service reps, I just happen to luck on and have a grand slam team to go to.
