Scope Of Work

The Preston Ridge IT Center will be the home of Collin College’s new 4 year degree in IT/Cyber Security programs.  The building forms the northern terminus of the main north-south axis of the existing Preston Ridge campus and as such creates a new northern quadrangle that future buildings will be oriented around.  A large central atrium space that marks this axial terminus serves as the main organizational feature of the building.  The specialized computer labs and classrooms that make up the building program are organized on a circulation pattern around the atrium.  All vertical circulation and student collaborative space is situated around the atrium.
