Thomas Campiglia's Bio
Mr. Campiglia is an established member of the American Institute of Architects, A fellow of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, certified member of the National Architectural Review Board and is licensed to practice Architecture in New York, Connecticut, New Jersey and California. Prior to the establishment of TCA, he was a principal Architect with Ellerbe Becket an International Architectural Firm and Chief Facilities Architect for the a Public Utility Company in New York. He is now President of TCA Architecture, a professional Architectural Consulting Practice in New York City, performing consulting work for such prominent institutions as Columbia University Medical Center, Emblem Health Insurance, Mercy College and Ann Taylor Corporation. He has extensive experience in both building renovation and new construction, with an emphasis on healthcare and medical architectural design and planning, building and site evaluations, interior design, building systems technology and construction related issues.
As the founding member of TCA, he brings over 30 years of building experience. His personality and direction invites an open dialog between clients, associates and the consultants to participate in a successful project by developing progressive ideas that can make a difference. He has received awards for his work with the New York City Center for Abused Children for the design of Brooklyn Children's Advocacy Center and a Merit Award for the Museum of Santa Barbara Design Competition and a the Albert Meiniker Award for a Design for Quadriplegia.
Mr. Campiglia has an Architectural Degree from Pratt Institute of Technology in Brooklyn, New York, and a Structural Engineering Degree from Wentworth Institute in Boston, Massachusetts.
