Don oversees and manages all matters related to construction operations including purchasing/estimating, value engineering, and project management. His signature “hands on” management approach ensures the success of every project Claremont pursues. Over the course of his forty (40) year career, he has completed in excess of $2 billion in construction projects.
Born and raised in northern New Jersey, Don grew up with the Claremont Companies. Following his studies at Syracuse University he joined his father’s painting and drywall/carpentry business in 1975 as a superintendent and then project manager, working his way up the ladder while learning all the aspects of the business. Under Don’s leadership, Claremont grew to become one of the largest interior package subcontractors in the United States, and beginning in the early 1990’s he spearheaded the company’s evolution into ground-up development and general construction. Since then Claremont has completed a diverse array of projects including millions of square feet of commercial space and thousands of multifamily residential units as principal developer, partner, and third party general contractor.
