Scope Of Work

Arias provided geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing services for the additions to Robert E. Lee’s Classrooms and Band Hall/Dance/Choir room. The classroom additions adjoining the auditorium, included basement levels. Arias provided recommendations for permanent and temporary dewatering systems and for waterproofing. We also provided lateral earth pressures for use in below-grade wall design. During construction, Arias performed construction materials testing services, such as earthwork operations and field and laboratory testing. Field testing to verify properties of concrete placed for foundations, slabs and paving was performed.
