At the age of only fourteen, George, (the current CEO of Piros Furniture) migrated to New York with a hope and a dream. He found work with a local carpenter in Woodside, NY and began helping manufacture simple household furniture such as bedroom sets, tables, and home office desks. In 1987 the company George started his career with, was going out of business which inspired this own “American Dream”. George quickly combined his inspiration of coming to America for a better future with his entrepreneurial spirit and opened Piros Custom Made Furniture in 1988. Twenty eight years later and we are still located in our convenient Astoria, NY location.
Since 1988 we have transformed into a company in which everyone can rely on. We have outgrown the residential market and now specialize in design, fabrication, and installation of custom furniture in Retail stores, Commercial spaces, and Residential homes. We take pride in the fact that our clients, whether they are contractors, designers, architects or homeowners, visions are unrestricted given that our material and finish selections are unlimited. Preserving the exceptional quality is one of our flawless traits and it is one of the many reasons we have a repeat customer base such as HSBC, Daniel Versace, Brightpoint Health, Nike Jordan Division and several celebrities.
For George, it was and still is about not only running a business but making sure his clients are satisfied and the work done, is always done the right way. At Piros Custom Furniture we aim to create products in a safe and honest environment. We tackle all jobs head-on with the belief that the process will be as positive as the end result.
