P & M Communications Contractors, Inc. has been in business since 1987in Lakeland, Fl, and have been doing directional boring since 1997. The owner, Paul J. Mangan, Jr. (state license holder), currently employs 21 people at the company and services the state of Florida. P & M Communications goal is to complete all projects on time, with no damage, and complete customer satisfaction whether it be a conduit or directional bore.

City of Lakeland - Electric Division 

P & M as held the annual installation of underground conduit contract from 1992 to present. Work completed includes installation of streetlight conduit, and bases, directional boring randing from 2" to multiple 6" conduits, construction of duct bank and manhole systems, pull boxes, and concrete pads, all types of of surface restoration, concrete, asphalt, and sod. Many joint projects with Lakeland Electric crews, incldue nights and weekends. One notable project is the boring and conduits needed for the Lone Palm Country Club site in 2018 which covered over 2 miles of boring and conduit work with multiple crossovers of Interstate I-4. 

City of Lakeland - Water Division

P & M has held the annual installtion contract for this division from 2001 - 2004, and 2006 - 2016. Many high profile bores were completed under this contract inclduing in 2008 - 800' 6" FPVC on State Road 33 in Lakeland. In 2004, P & M bored under Interstate 4 , 12 times, installing 4' to 16' HDPE. Bores from 2" to 20" using HDPE, FPVC, and Certa Lok Pipe were completed. 

City of Bartow - Bartow Electric

Serviced since 2002, boring projects have been completed for primary, secondary, house services, and street lighting to include all sweeps, pull boxes and concrete pads.
