Scope Of Work

In partnership with Northern Arizona Hospice and Verde Valley Medical Center, Loven Contracting constructed the Valley’s first hospice house in Cottonwood, Arizona. Designed with natural elements of native copper, stone and stucco walls, this 13,500 square-foot facility represents the materials and culture native to the Verde
Valley.

The House features 10 patient rooms, each with a private bath, outdoor patio and views of the red rocks. Complete with a large common kitchen, dining and gathering area, as well as a spacious sitting room, the space provides an optimal area for patients and families to spend time together. In addition, the home hosts a meditation room, physician consultation room, a nurse’s station and office.
