Our Story
Building Resources, Inc. management has over 25 years of construction and project management experience. This experience has allows BRI to help Owners and Architects in many aspects of the construction process.
BRI can provide Owners services during the pre-development phase of a project. These services include preliminary budgets, lease review, financial planning, construction scheduling, and design development aspects of a project.
BRI has the ability to provide valuable input as to the leased space condition which could lead to a financial savings for an Owner. In the design phase of the project, BRI has provided input for value engineering of design and construction means and methods in order to facilitate a cost effective project.
During a renovation of an existing facility BRI works with both the owner and Architect to determine cost effective ways to implement a project and minimize its effects on operations. BRI management has experience with historic renovations include: Postal Square, the Homer Building, the Evening Star Building, and District Chop House. The following projects have won craftsmanship awards: the Homer Building, The Legislative Office Building, 7455 Wisconsin Avenue, and Postal Square, Franklin Square and Bar 1331.
BRI take pride in its understanding of the finish trades which are the makeup artists of a project. These trades include stonework, millwork, and curtain wall. This has enabled BRI to better understand the process of assembling and fitting all aspects of a project. This development and experience was applied to many new construction projects as well as renovations.
BRI management understands that the industry is changing daily with innovations in the technological fields of construction. We continue to educate our staff to keep up with these changes.
