Ken Humphries began his construction career in 1976 and established Humphries Construction Corporation in Houston in 1986.

As President, Ken stays involved with each project to make certain that Humphries commitment to quality is always a top priority. He also coordinates all Design/Build projects.

His industry activities have included serving as past President and Director of the Associated General Contractors – Houston (AGC), and he is a Trustee of the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Virginia. He is an Elder of the First Presbyterian Church and has served as Chairman of its Building Committee. Ken also is a Director and past chair of the Building Committee for the Nehemiah Neighborhood Center.

As Senior Estimator, Jim manages all estimating and pre-construction services. Since beginning his career in 1981, Jim’s work as both an estimator and as a project manager have provided him with the knowledge, experience and unique skill set necessary to develop accurate estimates from conceptual drawings through finished plans. Working with the Design Team and Owner during the early stages of a project’s development, he directs all pre-construction activities including site analysis, budgeting, value engineering and final pricing.

Will fulfills two key roles in our organization: Director of Business Development and LEED Coordinator. As Director of Business Development, he is the initial face of Humphries Construction to many of our clients. His experience as a project manager on a variety of projects, including commercial, religious and self storage facilities, gives him the technical background to provide the services our clients require from the very first meeting. Will also manages and directs our LEED Certification processes and stays current with all initiatives concerning environmental sustainability in commercial construction.
