Scott Carlin has a distinguished 18-year career as a technical authority in the electric and telecommunications industry. As a leader, strategist, speaker and consultant with expertise in the electric power industry, he brings a unique point-of-view to asset management,predictive maintenance, and telecommunications deployment strategies.
In addition to his leadership role with DRG, Scott serves on Davey’s President’s Council, a strategic leadership group selected at the C-level to research and address solutions for company challenges.
Scott is a regular conference speaker for EEI, IEEE, WEI, and major Joint Use conferences. Well-versed in all aspects of reliability and efficiency of joint-use assets, Scott is a widely influential thought leader in the management of electric distribution.
Scott has a passion for community involvement and service, and is a member of the Akron Children’s Hospital Emerging Leaders Board, Akron Children’s Hospital Medina County Steering Committee, and the former chairman of the Heartland Joint Use Consortium.
