Velocity Construction of Virginia

Our main project targets are multi-family framing, or anything with a lot of square feet wood framed. We have worked in North Carolina & Maryland, but prefer to stay in Virginia.

We have been framing apartments buildings since the mid 1970s, a small construction company started by our grandfather in 1948, our father took over after our grandfather passed away, my sister and brother and myself grew up in the business and took over after our father retired. We know how to build these massive projects better than anyone else in the central Virginia area.

We are not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, we are chosen over our competition because we are known for taking on these types of projects. We carry Class A unlimited Contractors License, We are bondable.

We are fast, organized, and safe. All of our pricing includes the cost for a 3rd party safety inspector that visits the sites especially during high exposure phases, Every project we frame has a site supervisor employed by Velocity, we don't dump subs and check in from time to time, if we cannot supervise the project appropriately, we will turn down the project. We can furnish material, Simpson hardware, all the hoisting methods required, floor and roof trusses, or just Nails, it is entirely up to the customer.

Framing is what we do, its not a hobby, its a challenge that we embrace everyday. Blue Book does not seem to have an exact match category for what we do. We do not do tenant upfits, interior trim, cabinets, metal studs, although our projects are now for some reason called commercial, they are residential in real life. We have framed hotels, office shells, etc, anything wood.
