Kennedy Pipeline was originally a division of Kennedy Mechanical Contractors which was formed in Paramount, California in 1936 by John Kennedy Sr. and his three sons. They managed the company for many years and growth of the company followed.
In 1964 Stuart Trumble took over management of the pipeline division of Kennedy Mechanical Contractors. Under the watchful eye of Trumble the pipeline division became successfully established in the pipeline industry. Five short years after taking the helm Stuart Trumble was incorporated as a partner in the 1969 forming of Kennedy Pipeline Company, Inc. Over the next five years the Kennedy sons retired and in 1974 Stuart Trumble became the sole owner of Kennedy Pipeline.
Kennedy Pipeline began in Santa Ana with 12 employees and 3 trucks in 1969. Specializing in the installation of water, sewer and storm drain systems with most of the work being done in Orange County. Average jobs were about $35.000. The company grew at a steady pace and in 1976 outgrew the facility in Santa Ana and relocated to Irvine.
With the recruitment of many good employees throughout the years we have built a work force of about 150 employees. Over 30% of our employees have been with the company over 5 years and 55% over 3 years. We pride ourselves in the fact that our top management has been brought up through the ranks in this Company. So as our company "family" grows so does the experience of working together to achieve the best possible results in our industry.
