Special thanks go to Steve Widders, James Evans, John Yeatts and his crew of Ashley, James, Tim, Cody and Gene who consistently demonstrated competence, reliability, and commitment to meeting the User's expectations during all phases of the project.
We would not hesitate and would look forward to working with Standard Automatic Fire, Inc. on future construction projects. "
("SAFE") on numerous projects including Jane Long and Sam Rayburn Middle Schools in Bryan, Texas and more recently, the Brazos Valley Council of Governments Regional Services Center in Bryan, Texas.
Additionally, SAFE provided fire protection for all floors of the Sterling C. Evans Library Renovations and is presently performing similar work for both the Harrington and Eller Tower buildings. All of these buildings are located on the Texas A & M University Main Campus in College Station, Texas. The fire protection installation for all these projects was or is, as the case may be, installed concurrently with full occupancy and utilization of the buildings. This situation requires close coordination and cooperation with the building occupants, on-going personnel and material scheduling, and daily clean-up and housekeeping. In all of these areas, SAFE has unfailingly excelled.
Acklam Construction Co., Inc. would recommend and look forward to working with SAFE, Inc. on similar types of projects in the future. "
This has been a very challenging project with several obstacles to overcome in our collective effort to replace the sprinkler mains in an operating Data Center. This project has been an extraordinary challenge for many members of your company. The professionalism and dedication to customer service of your company's team members is to be commended, but I would like to comment on several individuals that I have had the pleasure to work with.
Chris Avent is dedicated to customer satisfaction and providing quality service. Chris has kept us informed of the projects status, provided requested information in a timely manner, and has been willing to go the extra mile to meet our needs.
Charles Allen has the attitude that working in a timely manner and doing a job correctly is far better than just getting the work completed. He has an eye for detail, an unwavering commitment to the safety of his team members as well as for the customer. Charles took ownership of Cingular's system and provided the quality of work that he would expect if it had belonged to him. This is a rare quality in today's fast-paced disposal society.
In closing, let me say I have no hesitation in recommending Mutual Sprinkler to other companies, and look forward to working with you in the future. "
My company, as well as I, personally, have worked Danny Jackson and his team as Superior Fire Protection for many years, on multiple types of projects. We have worked with them on everything from preliminary budgeting to design to complete installation. But more to the point, it is with their integrity and commitment to satisfy each and every client that I am recommending. You can expect honesty, open communication and have complete confidence that all aspects of the work performed will be with the utmost quality and professionalism. I consider them a partner in which to be relied upon through all aspects of my projects. My vast experience with Danny and Superior Fire Protection is just one example of the commitment that they have made in developing lasting relationships built upon integrity and mutual respect.
We have worked on projects such as MTD, Corrugated Box, Sonoco Products and countless others, all of which adhered to strict budget constraints and schedules. Throughout the various ranges of projects that we have worked together, I can gladly say, each and every one has been a complete success.
I welcome any specific inquiries to support my recommendation of Superior Fire Protection. "
We had approximately 1000 Central Sprinkler heads that were recalled in one of our buildings at this location. This job was very difficult to perform because of the location of most of these heads being located in our secure lab areas, over occupied cubicles and offices along with two 54' high ceiling lobby areas with delicate floor tile. We also have several different systems that were affected and required knowing which systems were drained and which were still active. All of this work was required to be performed over the weekends (Saturday and Sundays)so as not to interfere with Nokia business. This job was scheduled for four technicians to last approximately 8 weekends. Because of Mickey's vast knowledge of our particular systems he was able to perform this work in only 4 weekends with only 2 additional technicians (Roberto and Jay).
Mickey investigated the use of a high lift to replace the heads in the lobbies and after receiving the approval to bring it in to our lobbies was able to successfully replace all of the heads in both lobbies in one weekend verses the original plan to build scaffolding and only being able to do one lobby per weekend. This I thought was an excellent idea showing foresight and in looking outside of the proverbial box to reduce the risk of damage for Nokia. This creative thinking on Mickey's part not only reduced time but at what should have been a great cost savings to Mutual not to mention less chance for something being damaged with the amount of scaffolding having to be setup and taken down on a Saturday and then again on Sunday for 2 weekends.
Mickey also went to great lengths to insure there was no damage to any areas by employing the use of a large vacuum that he had installed on each system that was drained to keep any water from being released at each head location. We also have special ceiling tile that is easily damaged by fingerprints any time a tile is touched by the bare hands. Mickey designed and built several devices out of wood that were covered with a protective covering for them to use to raise and lower each ceiling tile without touching the tile with their hands again. I feel like this was a great idea.
I was on site assisting in anyway possible during each of these weekends, so I know it was long and tiring work. I appreciate very much all of Mickey, Roberto and Jay's hard work and going to the lengths they did to minimize any and all risk. I felt very confident and secure with Mickey performing this work versus anyone else.
I would like to say that I am very pleased with Mickey being my go to guy for sprinkler work being performed at this location. I would like to thank Mutual for having talented people like Mickey on their staff performing this type work. "
Well, over the past 5 years that I have been dealing with you and your people I can say without reservation you have stepped up to the plate time in and time out to meet the demands of our projects.
When we needed help on pricing, you have come up with creative "value engineering" that has been accepted and implemented.
Thank you for your efforts and I look forward to the next project we do together. "
In the 36 years of association with Superior Fire Protection, we have always been pleased with the professional manner in which all project have been completed. Projects have ranged from small to large and no matter what the size, we have been pleased with the price and workmanship. We look forward to many more years of association and wish your company the best in the coming years. "
The management and staff at Fire Pro are always courteous and prompt when we call. They have completed jobs ranging from small repairs and upgrades to complete large facility fire protection projects. Fire Pro has been a great supporting resource when designing new facilities or plant expansions.
They have ensured we have incorporated sufficient protection systems in the design, not only to meet Fire Marshal code requirements but to also to provide the maximum protection for our crews and equipment. Their response to emergency situations has been unequaled. When we have a problem and call, they are there with the manpower and material to help get us back on line. "
, I want to thank you for the very competitive pricing and outstanding work your company has furnished us. From the smallest of fire protection projects, to the Huntsman Chemical project I managed, complete with a foam system and gas detection system, your company has always shined. Most of all we appreciate the fact you have never nickel and dimed us on change orders and you have never failed to meet our sometimes unreasonable schedules. I have always considered SAFE to be one our pacesetter subcontractors on the project, helping to meet all critical milestones and owner occupancies. Your reputation and relationship with the local inspectors is a very valuable asset you bring to each project.
I hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and thanks again for all you do for Mission. If I can ever be of service to you as far as a reference for future work, please feel free to call."
The writing of this letter is way overdue. My working relationship on a day to day basis has been mostly with Mr. Bill Harris.
I am writing to say that Bill Harris is one of the most responsive, responsible and dedicated contacts I have worked with. It has been because of Bill that I have been so pleased with Mutual Sprinklers and plan on continuing our relationship for years to come. It is an extreme pleasure to work with a man of such integrity. Please accept my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the service your company provides and in Bill Harris as my sales contact.
Additionally, I would like to say that Jay Spencer, and all of the men in the field have been wonderful. I do not know all of the names, and for that I apologize. One man I do know and sticks out in my mind is Lorenzo. I can not think of a time when I have had a problem with any of the men with Mutual Sprinklers. If there ever was an issue, or I found myself in need, the response has always been very positive.
I have been contracting work for most of my life. I know that this work is stressful and schedules rarely allow time for anything but moving on to the next problem or project. I wanted to take a moment and compliment Bill formally, and to pass along my appreciation for the entire team as well. "
Fire Pro has serviced us in excess of 25 years and has always provided very professional services to our locations. Fire Pro has met all of our fire suppression needs from annual inspections, emergency repairs, and changes needed due to remodeling of stores. Fire Pro is large enough to handle all our fire protection needs; but also small enough to know you personally when you call for assistance. The "personal touch" we receive from Dennis and Cricket at Fire Pro is very important to us, as they both make sure that all of our needs are met in a professional, cost effective and very timely manner.
With 19 stores in three (3) states, you can imagine the emergencies and situations we have encountered in over 25 years of working with Fire Pro and NOT once has Fire Pro ever let us down or disappointed us in anyway. We have learned to count on Fire Pro as a very valuable business partner for us and we highly recommend them as a "partner" you and your company can count on for the best fire protection services in the industry. "
To my personal knowledge, SAFE has performed greater than 95% of all fire sprinkler/standpipe system installation and repair work since December 1992. I am aware that SAFE completed installations prior to my employment, for St. Joseph Regional Health Center.
Prior to 1992, the facility, 302,000 square feet, fire sprinkler system was limited to high hazard areas. Through a combined effort of St. Joseph Regional Health Center and SAFE, the facility is now 100% sprinkled. The installation occurred in occupied areas of the Hospital without incident.
Standard Automatic Fire Enterprises is the primary vendor of choice for St. Joseph Health System. Our System utilizes SAFE throughout our facilities within the seven county areas. We are proud of the relationship we have with SAFE and hope to continue in the future. "
For well over ten years, we have used Fire Pro exclusively for all of our fire protection. The company offers quality products, services, and competitive rates. Our projects are all different and require attention to detail. The sales and estimating staff are a joy to work with. They are timely, detailed, and knowledgeable. As a general contractor for over 30 years, we require top-notch subcontractors. We have no hesitation in recommending Fire Pro for your fire protection needs. "
